We are thrilled to announce partnerships with Joliet Public Schools - District 86, Joliet Township High School (JTHS), Rockdale Grade School, Troy Community Consolidated School District 30C, Plainfield School District 202, Union SD81 and Laraway Community Consolidated School District 70C, made possible in large part to the passing of House Bill 2096 "Cards for Kids Act."
All residents of Joliet Township and Rockdale who are students of Joliet Public Schools - District 86, Joliet Township High School, Rockdale Grade School, Troy CCSD 30C, Plainfield School District 202, Union SD81 and Laraway CCSD70C are now eligible for Joliet Public Library student cards at no additional cost to the household.
Students who are City of Joliet residents, or residents of neighboring communities, are also invited to apply for library cards through this process.
Your child will receive a Joliet Public Card in the mail upon receipt of the application.

Student applications received by Joliet Public Library for residents of neighboring towns (ie. New Lenox, Shorewood Troy, Channahon-Minooka, Plainfield or Manhattan) will have their information routed to the appropriate library for consideration.
