Joliet Public Library and Surrounding Area Libraries Collecting PPE through Operation H.O.P.E.
The Joliet Public Library is partnering with six other area libraries and opening their books drops to collect donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for area hospitals and health care workers.
Operation H.O.P.E. (Handing Out Protective Equipment) is a collaborative effort between local libraries to work together to help support our health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations will be dropped off at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center Joliet, and Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers.

Any of the above items can be dropped off in participating book drops beginning on Friday, April 10 at these locations:

Homer Township Public Library District, 14320 West 151st Street, Homer Glen
Book drops will be open to collect PPE only. Patrons are asked to continue to please hold on to their checked out library materials and not return them to the book drops during this time.
