The health and safety of our visitors and staff are a top priority at the Joliet Public Library. As a hub of learning and activity in our great community, we have been closely following the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Will County Health Department.


Due dates have been extended until we reopen. Please do not return materials to the book drops. 

Due to the evolving situation, Joliet Public Library will our suspend services from Tuesday, March 17th at 5 pm until further notice in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We will not be accepting book donations during this time.  

Our online chat help system will be available on to assist patrons with Ebook, online resource help and reference questions throughout the closure.
